PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Hi! Thanks for showing an interest in SCUBA diving and the PADI Discover SCUBA Diving (DSD) programme!
The programme is an experience and not a dive qualification. It is designed for people who want to give SCUBA diving a try before committing to the entire Openwater Diver Course.
However, if you decide to go ahead with the full course, we can give you credit for the beginning part of the Openwater Course which you will cover on the Discover SCUBA Diving programme.
On the DSD, you will have an introduction to the theory of diving with a theory session. We then go to the pool for a pool dive where you will get familiar with the SCUBA gear and learn some of the vital skills while having fun in the pool at the same time.
Finally, we will do a sea dive at a suitable dive site around the peninsula. We will not be doing any skills on the sea dive, simply enjoying the marine life and touring around underwater.
The programme takes one full day and the cost is R850.

Transport from the shop to the dive sites

Boat charter fees, where applicable
