Aside from teaching diving and running diving activities there is a whole lot that goes on behind the scenes to keep the wheels turning. And we really do keep them turning - Pisces Divers is open six days of the week, from 0800 to 1730. From Tuesday to Sunday(including most public holidays)
- Dive Report
Being a few metres from the False Bay coast, we can easily look out the window and give you an accurate weather and dive report – we use several weather modeling sites to predict what’s coming and will make a best guess as to where to dive. So call us before you drive miles!
- We have a workshop for scuba equipment servicing, repair and testing.
We hold annual service kits for Scubapro and Aqualung regulators and BCD’s and some other brands as well. We will endeavor to return your precious regulator to you within a week or sooner if it’s urgent. We also do battery changing for Suunto and Uwatec dive computers.
- We provide an Airfill and Nitrox station on site.
Our new Bauer Mariner compressor delivers 320l/min and we also have 8 x 50l banks for bulk air storage. Our compressor is fitted with a Bauer P-41 filter system and we only use original Bauer filters, ensuring that you only get 100% pure, dry air from any fill you do with us. We will always fill your cylinders while you wait.
We have a partial pressure Nitrox filling station and top up our Nitrox blends with air that has passed through a second Bauer filter system. We use Oxycheq oxygen analysers to get your mix perfect.
We sell air fill cards at a bulk discount rate and also offer bone fide dive club members of FBUC, OMSAC and BUC discounted air fills.
- We facilitate scuba cylinder testing – visual, hydrostatic, chemical cleaning, EDDY current cylinder testing, cylinder oxygen cleaning and cylinder re-sprays. Drop off and pick up within seven working days.
We are not a cylinder test station, but provide these full cylinder services to our clients, using reputable accredited test facilities in Cape Town.
